The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Jumper, Roll call. Malone, Owens, Arnold, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Councilman Strohmeier. The Mayor announced that the minutes of the last Minutes approved. regular meeting of July 17, 1939 were written and mailed to each member of the City Council ' and the City Attorney. There being no errors or omissions the minutes were unanimously approved as written. A communication from the City Clerk of Pomona City of Pomona requesting the City's permission to hang a granted permission banner across the Boulevard, advertising the to hang banner. Los Angeles County Fair, was read. Moved by Councilman Malone, seconded by Council- man Jumper that this request be granted. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Owens, Arnold. Noes: None.
