Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 96-C74RESOLUTION NO. 96-C74 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ADOPTING POLICY GUIDELINES FOR THE COMMERCIAL REHABILITATION LOAN, FACADE IMPROVEMENT AND RENTAL HOUSING EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENT REBATE PROGRAMS WHEREAS, the City of Azusa is participating under the County of Los Angeles Community Development Block Grant Program; and WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a Commercial Rehabilitation Loan Program, Facade Improvement Program, and Rental Housing Exterior Improvement Rebate Program funded with Community Development Block Grant funds; and WHEREAS, City staff now requests approval of the policy, terms and procedures (guidelines) which will govern the Commercial Rehabilitation Loan Program, Facade Improvement Program, and Rental Housing Exterior Improvement Rebate Program, and which are attached herein as Exhibits A, B and C. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby take the following actions: Section 1. Approve the policy, terms and procedures (guidelines) which will govern the Commercial Rehabilitation Loan Program, Facade Improvement Program, and Rental Housing Exterior Improvement Rebate Program, and which are attached herein as Exhibits A, B and C. Section 2. Approve the definition of "affordable rents" as that definition applies to the Rental Housing Exterior Improvement Rebate Program, and which is defined as those Fair Market Rents issued periodically in the Fair Market Rent Schedule by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Los Angeles -Long Beach Primary Metropolitan Statistical Area. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution. PASSED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of June ,1996.
