HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 96-C58RESOLUTION 96-058 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING PARKING PROHIBITION FOR STREET SWEEPING PURPOSES ON FIFTH STREET AT ROCKVALE AND REMOVAL OF STOPPING PROHIBITION ON THE WESTSIDE OF TODD AVENUE SOUTH OF SIERRA MADRE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, staff has reviewed Fifth Street at Rockvale and Todd Avenue south of Sierra Madre with respect to requests for parking considerations, WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all oral and written communications, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. "No Parking on Tuesdays from 8 am to 12pm" signs be posted on northside of Fifth Street from Rockvale to the Little Dalton Wash for street sweeping purposes. SECTION 2. "No Stopping" signs on westside of Todd Avenue, from the third sign south of Sierra Madre Avenue to the existing red curbing at 1001 Todd, be removed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of May 1996. MAYOR I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was 0 duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a Special meeting thereof, held on the 6th day of May 1996, by the following vote of the City Council: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Hardison, Madrid, Naranjo, Beebe, Alexander NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None ABSTAIN: COUNCILMEMBERS:
