RESOLUTION NO. 96—C45
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ADOPTING THE
PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
OBJECTIVES AND PROJECTED USE OF FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995-96
WHEREAS, the City of Azusa is participating under the County of Los Angeles Community
Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has proposed to change the location for two projects; and
WHEREAS, the proposed changes represent a substantial change to the original project
descriptions; and
WHEREAS, the City has allowed written comment and public testimony on the City's
community development needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard any and all public input received regarding the City's
proposed change to the projected use of Community Development Block Grant funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa does
hereby take the following actions:
Section 1. Approve the new location description for the Facade Improvement Program
Project No. D95038, expanding the project to provide grant rebates up to $20,000 to
commercial/retail business in the Azusa Central Business District Redevelop. Area, on Azusa Ave.
between 9th St. & just south of the I-210 Freeway to Lot 7 of Tract 13426 as recorded in map Book
268, Page 40 of the L.A. County Recorder, and on Foothill Blvd. between Alameda & San Gabriel; and
Section 2. Extend the project duration through June 30,1997; and
Section 3. Approve the new location description for the Commercial Rehabilitation Loan
Program Project No. D95039, expanding the project to provide deferred loans up to $20,000 to
commercial/retail business in the Azusa Central Business District Redevelop. Area, on Azusa Ave.
between 9th St. & just south of the I-210 Freeway to Lot 7 of Tract 13426 as recorded in map Book
268, Page 40 of the L.A. County Recorder, and on Foothill Blvd. between Alameda & San Gabriel; and
Section 4. Extend the project duration through June 30, 1997; and
Section 5. Authorize staff to submit the approved changes to the Community
Development Commission.
Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution.
