CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA'. NOVEMBER 27, 1939. 7:00 otclock P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
regular adjourned session at the above time
and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Jumper, Roll call.
Malone, Owens, Strohmeier, Arnold, City
Attorney Miller and City Clerk.
The protest presented by R. B. Bidwell, Protest entered by
Executor of the Estate of V. M. Greever, was R. B. Bidwell
offered. referred to City
' Attorney.
Moved by Councilman Strohmeier, seconded by
Councilman Malone that all protests on state-
ments submitted by municipally owned Light and
Water Departments be referred to the City
Attorney.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Owens,
Strohmeier, Arnold.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Mr. Smith, representative of the Standard Oil Mr. Smith address -
Company of California Sales Department, ed Council.

Councilman Strohmeier offered a Resolution
entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY RESOLUTION NO.
OF AZUSA APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT 1633 adopted.
FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLO-
CATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE.
Moved by Councilman Owens, seconded by
' Councilman Jumper that this Resolution be
adopted as read and numbered Resolution
No. 1633.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Owens,
Strobmeier, Arnold.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
City Engineer Kressly read a letter from the Highway marking
State Highway Department with reference to referred to Board
roadway marking. of Public Works.
Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by
Councilman Strohmeier and unanimously carried
this matter be referred to the Board of Pub-
lic Works.
City Engineer Paul Kressly read a letter from Communication read.

for grade separation on Foothill Boulevard.
Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Coun- City Engineer to
