HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 99-C0800 RESOLUTION NO. 99-C80 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTIONS 1. That certain Grant of Easement executed by Azusa Canyonn 30 ; under date of the 10th of June, 1999, o the CITY OF AZUSA a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, State of California, its its successors and assigns, the right of perpetual easement and right of way solely for the purpose of constructing, laying, maintaining, operating, using, altering, repairing, replacing, inspecting and relocating therein and thereupon and / or removing therefrom electrical utility lines and related facilities, with any and all connections and devices necessary thereto for the transportation, distribution and / or supply of electricity to the property, in, on, over, under across and along the following described real property situated in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California, to wit: See Exhibit "A" & " B" Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is hereby authorizes and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of said County. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. )OPTED THIS -1 4 th day June 1999 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th June, 1999 AYES: ) COUNCILMEMBERS: NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS HARDISON, STANFORD, ROCHA, BEEBE, MADRID NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE RESOLUTION NO. 99-C79 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER IN AN AMOUNT OF $39,610.84 TO WESCO DISTRIBUTION, INC. OF SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE PAD MOUNTED TRANSFORMERS. WHEREAS, Section 2-536 of the Azusa Municipal Code allows City Council to waive formal "sealed" bidding upon finding that the public welfare would be promoted by dispensing with them, and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY FIND AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the formal "sealed" bidding process is waived, and Section 2. Council authorizes the issuance of a purchase order in an amount not to exceed $39,610.84 to Wesco Distribution, Inc. of Santa Fe Springs, CA for the purchase of two 225kva pad mounted transformers, one 300kva pad mounted transformer, one 500kva pad mounted transformer, and one MAYOR transformer. this 14th day of June, 1999 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution No. 99-C79 was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 14th day of June, 1999 by the following vote of the Council.
