MENT, STREET DEPARTMENT AND THE HEADS OF ALL
THE SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY, CERTAIN
CONTROL OVER EMPLOYEES IN SUCH DEPARTMENTS.
Moved by Councilman Jumper seconded by Coun-
cilman Bradshaw that this Resolution be adopted
as read and numbered Resolution No. 1671.

DELINQUENT DOG TAXES AND FIXING HIS COMMISSION.

MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING.
JULY 1, 1940. 7:30 P.M.
Councilman Jumper reported on a meeting with
Mr. Cortelyou, Mr. Kenzie and Right -of -Way men,
of the State Highway -Department relative to the
grade separation on Foothill Boulevard, stating
that the project would not be started for at
least three months and would take eight months
to complete at a cost of $275,000. He also
stated that the only cost to be borne by the
City of Azusa was the lowering of water pipe
linea.
' Mr. Perry Morris appeared before the Council
requesting a donation for the Daily vacation
Bible School.
No action taken.
Councilman Bradshaw reported on the Lee School
recreation park.
Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by
Councilman Arnold the following requisitions
be allowed: 846-849, 884-889.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw,
Arnold, Owens.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by
Councilman Arnold the following bills be
allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the
Treasury for the same.
