MAYOR I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 7th day of August, 2000, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: HARDISON, STANFORD, ROCHA, BEEBE, MADRID NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: NONE ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: ABSTAIN: COUNCJt MEMBER% To: The Honorable Mayor and Azusa City Council From: Homeowners of Jubuedly Drive Subject: Request to change street name Jubuedly Drive is a private street that received its peculiar name back in the late forties by the original homeowners. The unusual spelling was created by using the first two letters of each homeowner's name. The street name of Jubuedly is difficult to pronounce and the unusual spelling creates constant confusion. Today, none of the original homeowners live on the street and'the current residents are requesting that that the name of this private street be changed to Canyon Heights Drive. We feel this new name is more descriptive of our street and will make our addressing transactions so much easier. Thank you for your consideration on this matter.
