Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Councilr+an'Bradshaw the City renew the policy on lighting standards at'a rate of'one dollar per one hundred dollars valuation. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw, Arnold, Owens. Noes: None. Absent: None. Mr. W. A. Johnson appeared before the Council and requested information relative to sewer connections. No action taken. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Jumper and duly carried the City Attorney be instructed to draw a plumbing and an electrical Ordinance to be presented to Council at the neat regular meeting. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Jumper the following business men be awarded the City business for the month of October: Doctor - Dr. Wheatley First Aid, Etc. - Richter's Drug Store Garage - Sitton's Garage Grease Jobs - Kraft Station (Sunset Ave.) Hardware - Spriggs Brothers Hardware Lumber - Williams Lumber Yard Paint - E. M. Templeman Restaurant - Benniea Cafe Tires - C. H. Howard Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw, Arnold, Owens. Noes: None. Absent: None. Mr. Tscharner reported on progress made toward acquiring a portion of First Street. Councilman Jumper reported on the League Conference held in San Diego. Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Coun- cilman Malone the following requisitions be allowed: 931-939 , 968-976. Carried by the following vote of the Councilr Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw, Arnold, Owens. Noes: None. Absent:None. Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Councilman Malone the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same.
