HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 01-C0250 0 RESOLUTION NO. n i —cg s A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING A LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT NO. LLA -2000-02 TO ADJUST THE LOT LINES OF APN 8624-002-046 & 8624-002-047 AT 720 E. FOOTHILL BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Azusa, has given notice thereof as required by law, held a public hearing on February 14, 2001, for the application of Richard J. Brooks, with respect to the requested Lot Line Adjustment No. LLA 2000-02, to accommodate new General Plan and Zoning Designations for the proposed banquet facility, located at 720 E. Foothill Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered all pertinent testimony and the staff report offered in the case as presented at the public hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, a Negative Declaration has been prepared and reviewed finding that the proposed project could not have a significant effect on the environment. The City Council hereby certifies said Negative Declaration. SECTION 2: That in accordance with Section 88-585 of the Azusa Municipal Code, it is found that the project would not unreasonably interfere with the use or enjoyment of property in the vicinity, and would not adversely affect the public peace, health, safety or general welfare, and provided the conditions of approval are adhered to, the City Council hereby approves said Lot Line Adjustment based on the following findings: The lot line adjustment is necessary to achieve consistency with the requested re -designation and re -zoning of the property, which are being evaluated concurrently. SECTION 3: Based on the aforementioned findings, the City Council does hereby approve of Lot Line Adjustment No. LLA -2000-02, for the property located at 720 E. Foothill Blvd, subject to the conditions of approval attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference, as though set out in full and at length. SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in compliance with Chapter 88, Article III, Division 13 of the Azusa Municipal Code. The Lot Line Adjustment shall become effective and a building permit may be issued only after these findings and conditions have been accepted in writing by the owner of the described property.
