CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. DECEMBER 16, 1940. 7:3U P. M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Jumper, Roll call.
Malone, Bradshaw, Arnold, Owens, City Attorney
Miller and City Clerk.
Each member present having acknowledged receipt Minutes approved.
of a written copy of the minutes of the regular
meeting of December 2nd, 1940,_ the.Mayor asked
if there were any objections or corrections to
said minutes. There being none, the minutes of
the regular meeting of December 2nd, 1940 were
unanimously approved as written.
The Clerk announced that she had received eight Bids opened.
Bids in answer to Notice calling for Bids on a
dump truck.
Moved by Councilman Malone, seconded by Council-
man Arnold the Bids be now opened, examined and
publicly declared.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw,
Arnold, Owens.
Noes: None. Absent: None.

equipped as follows: four wheel Lockheed hydraulic brakes, full

Moved by Mayor Owens, seconded by Councilman
Arnold and duly carried this Committee be
given power to act in the matter of the pur-
chase of a dump truck.
Carried by the following vote of the Council;
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw,
Arnold, Uwens.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Coun-
cilman Bradshaw the City Clerk be authorized
and instructed to return the Cashier's Checks
to the unsuccessful Bidders.
