The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Jumper,
Malone, Arnold, Owens, City Attorney Miller and
City Clerk.
Absent: Councilman Bradshaw.
Each member present having acknowledged receipt
of a written copy of the minutes of the regular
meeting of February 3, 1941, the Mayor asked if
' there were any objections to said minutes. There
being none, the minutes of February 3, 1941 were
unanimously approved as written.
Letters from Standard, Shell and Union Oil
Companies, quoting prices on gasoline, were read.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Council-
man Malone the Mayor be authorized to sign a '
copy of the letter presented by the Standard 011
Company and to acknowledge receipt of the letter
offered by the Shell Oil Company and the City
Clerk be instructed to write the Union 011 Company
that the Council had accepted bids of the Standard
and Shell Oil Companies.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Arnold, Owens.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Bradshaw.

The City Clerk announced that she had received 2 Bids on Pre -mix
sealed Bids in answer to Notice calling for Bids opened.

man Malone the Bids be now opened, examined and
' publicly declared.

Terms: Cash discount of 20/ per ton will be allowed
if the account is paid in full on or before the 20th
day of the following month after date of delivery.
Minimum loads of 10 tons.
California State Sales Tax is not included in above
prices.

man Malone that the Council accept the Bid of
Harrison -Nichols, the lowest responsible Bidder.

man Jumper the City Clerk be authorized and in-
structed to return the check submitted with the
Asphalt Paving Company's Bid.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:

Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Bradshaw.
Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Council-
man Arnold the Clerk be authorized to return the
Cashier's check to Harrison -Nichols when a satis-
factory Bond has been filed.

A RESULUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 1700 adopted.
AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, TRANSFERRING
THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5000.) FROM THE
LIGHT FUND TO THE SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND #2.
Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Council-
man Arnold that this Resolution be adopted as
read and numbered Resolution No. 1700.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Arnold,Owens.
Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Bradshaw.
Mayor Owens offered a Resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA, LOS ANGELES CUUNTY, CALIFORNIA, TRANSFERR-
ING THE SUM OF TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20 000.)
FROM THE LIGHT FUND, TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS (10,000.)
FROM THE LIGHT RESERVE FUND, FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($5,000.) FROM THE WATER RESERVE FUND AND FIVE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.) FROM THE WATER FUND TO
THE SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND #1.
