The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and 'place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Jumper, Roll call. Malone, Bradshaw, Owens, City Attorney Miller and City Clerk. Absent: Councilman Arnold. Each member present having acknowledged receipt of a written copy of the minutes of the regular meeting of January 5th and the adjourned session Minutes approved. ' of January 12th, 1942, the Mayor asked if there were any objections or corrections to said minutes. There being none, the minutes of the regular meeting of January 5th and the adjourn- ed session of January 12th, 1942 were unanimously approved as written. A communication relative to the rationing of Communication automobiles was read and ordered placed on file. ordered placed on file. Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Coun- cilman Malone the Clerk be instructed to credit the Sewer Construction Fund #2 and charge the X301.71 charged General Fund with $301.71, representing material General Fund. purchased for the Sewer Fund which can be used for sewer maintenance. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw, Owens. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Arnold. Councilman Bradshaw offered a Resolution :entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, TRANS- RESOLUTION NO. FERRING THE SUM OF TVD THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED 1748 adopted. DOLLARS ($2500) FROM VARIOUS FUNDS TO SEINER CON- STRUCTION FUND #2. Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Council- man Malone this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1748. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw, Owens. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Arnold. The Clerk announced she had received four sealed bids in answer to Notice calling for Bids on Bids on gasoline. the City's gasoline supply. Nioved by Councilman Bradshaw, seconded by Coun- cilman Jumper the Bids be now opened, examined and publicly declared. JANUARY 19, 1942. 7:30 P.M. 2 39 Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Council- man Malone that in the opinion of Council the City's supply of gasoline can be purchased to better advantage in the open market, therefor Bids rejected. all bids be rejected and the matter referred to the Purchasing Committee, with power to act. Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Council- man Malone the following requisitions be allowed: 1365 - 1369. Requisitions.
