The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
regular session a't the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Jumper,
Malone, Bradshaw, Arnold, Owens, City Attorney
Miller mid City Clerk.
Each member present having acknowledged receipt
of a written copy of the minutes of the regular
meeting of March 2, 1942, the Mayor asked if
there were any objections or corrections to said
' minutes. There being none, the minutes of the
regular meeting of March 2, 1942 were unanimously
approved as written.
A communication from the local Planning Commission
relative to the removal of Mr. Zatinsky's wrecking
yard, was read.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Council-
man Malone the Council accept the Planning
Commission's recommendation.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw,
Arnold, Owens.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
A communication from the Planning Commission
relative to the remodeling of a business property
owned by Tony Ortuno, was read and ordered placed
on file.
The Clerk announced she had received one bid in
answer to Notice calling for Bids on a Bull Dozer.
' Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Council-
man Arnold the Bid be now opened, examined and
publicly declared.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Malone, Bradshaw,
Arnold, Owens.
Noes: None. Absent: None.

Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Council-
man Bradshaw the Clerk be instructed to advertise
for Bids on pre -mix.

Arnold, Owens.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Bradshaw, seconded by Council-
man Malone the following business men be granted
