HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 13-C37RESOLUTION NO. 13-C37 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA SUPPORTING THE COMPLETION OF THE 710 FREEWAY RESOLUTION PRESENTED, BUT NOT ADOPTED WHEREAS, the 710 Freeway serves as a major north -south link in the Los Angeles County transportation network; and WHEREAS, over the past forty (40) plus years, alternatives have been proposed and evaluated to complete the 710 Freeway and close the 4.5 mile gap in the corridor. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council supports the completion of the 710 freeway. INTRODUCED, this 3`d day of June, 2013 Moved by Councilmember Carrillo, seconded by Councilmember Gonzales, to waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 13-07: Resolution failed by the following vote, 3 affirmative votes were required to pass: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GONZALES, CARRILLO NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: ALVAREZ, ROCHA ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: MACIAS
