A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A FEE AND FINE SCHEDULE FOR
THE CITY'S REGULATORY PROGRAM FOR ADMINISTERING AND
MANAGING THE CITY'S RESPONSE TO ALARMS.
WHEREAS, on December 2, 2013, by Ordinance No. 13-04, the City Council of the
City of Azusa established a comprehensive scheme for the regulation of alarm systems within the
City, which includes a number of fees and fines; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said fees and fines shall be established
by a separate resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes hereby to adopt such fees and fines consistent with
the authority provided by Ordinance No. 13-04.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Adoption. The fees and fines associated with Chapter 18, Article III of the
Azusa Municipal Code shall be those set forth in the City of Azusa Alarm System Fee and Fine
Schedule, incorporated herein and attached hereto as Attachment A.
Section 2. Amounts. The fees set forth above do not exceed the actual or estimated
costs to the City of Azusa of providing services to which the fees relate.
Section 3. Authorization to Implement. The City Council authorizes the City
Manager, and other City staff members as designated by the City Manager or the Azusa
Municipal Code, to implement the fees, fines, and all forms and documents related thereto.
Section 4. The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest thereto,
and thereafter this Resolution shall take effect and be in force.
Section 5. The fees set forth in this Resolution shall become effective on the date that
Ordinance No. 13-04 becomes effective.
