The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Owens, Bradshaw,
Morden, Malone, City Attorney Miller and City Clerk. ROLL CALL
Absent: Councilman Jumper.
Each member present acknowledged receipt of a written
copy of the minutes of the regular meeting of November
2nd and the adjourned meeting of November 9, 1942.
The Mayor asked if there were any objections or cor- MINUTES
rections to said minutes. There being none, the APPROVED
' minutes of the regular meeting of November 2nd and
the adjourned meeting of November 9, 1942, were
approved as written.
A c ommunication from Mr. E. E. McCarty, General AZUSA AVENUE
Manager of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railway CROSSING.
Company relative to the condition of the crossing at
Azusa Avenue was read and ordered placed on file.
An invitation to attend the Golden Anniversary* ceremonies
to be held for Angeles National Fore-st, was read INVITATION
and ordered placed on file. FILED.
A resolution adopted by the Los Angeles County Board
of Supervisors relative to the improvement of certain
streets within the City of Azusa, was read. RESOLUTION ON
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Councilman I1:IPROITEMENT
Bradshaw this matter be referred to the City Attorney OF' STREETS
and Councilman Owens to report back at the next REFERRED TO
regular meeting of Council. COUNCTLI.IAN

Mr. Lester Holderman appeared before Council re-
lative to a radio set for orowel cars. RADIO SET.
No action taken in this matter.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Councilman
Bradshaw that the matter of filing proper forms, GASOLINE
contacting rationing boards and doing all things RATIONING
necessary to make application for gasoline rationing books
for the various City Departments, be referred to the REFERRED TO
City Engineer, with power to act. CITY ATTORNEY

Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Jumper.
Councilman Owens offered a Resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, CANCELLING
CONTRACT WITH THE ASSOCIATED ASSESSMENT ENGINEERS.
