CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. MONDAY DECEMBER 20, 1943. 7:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll"call: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm,
Bradshaw, Morden, Malone, City Attorney Miller,
and City Clerk.
Each member present acknowledged receipt of a
written copy,of the minutes of the regular
meeting of December 6, 1943. The Mayor asked if
there were any objections or corrections to said
minutes. There being none, the minutes of Dec-
ember 60 1943, were approved as written.

Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Council-
man La=n, Council authorize and instruct Coun-
cilman Owens, and City Engineer Kressly to
negotiate with the American Cyanimid Corporation
to supply them with water on a basis of tenta-
tive outline, worked out by the City Engineer.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, Bradshaw,
Morden, Malone.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Council-
man Lamm, the agreement between the City of
Azusa, and the Azusa Irrigating Company, be
referred to City Attorney Miller, to be presented
at the next regular meeting.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm,Bradshaw,
Morden, Malone.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Bradshaw, seconded by
Councilman Owens, the City Clerk be instructed
to advertise for Bids in accordance with spec-
ifications drawn and prepared by City Engineer
Kressly and Superintendent of Light and Water
Department, V. D. Smith.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, Bradshaw,
Morden, Malone.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
The Notice of Annual Meeting of the Azusa
Agricultural Water Company, was read.
Moved by Councilman Bradshaw, seconded by
Councilman Morden, Mayor Malone represent the
City at this meeting.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, Bradshaw,
Morden, Malone.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Mr. A. N. Downings resignation was read.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by
Councilman Lamm, Council accept Mr. Downingts
resignation with regret, and the City Clerk be
instructed to write Mr. Downing a letter of
appreciation.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, Bradshaw,
Morden, Malone.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Council discussed the matter of tax deeded
property, and postponed action along this line
until a later date.
