'h The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, ROLL CALL Bradshaw, Morden, Malone, City Attorney Tscharner, and City Clerk. Absent: None. Each member present acknowledged receipt of a written copy of the minutes of the regular meeting of December 20, 1943. The Mayor asked MINUTES APPROVED if there were any objections or corrections to said minutes. There being none, the minutes of December 20, 1943, were approved as written. The City Clerk announced three sealed Bids had been received in answer to Notice Calling for Bids on transformers and appurtenances, required for the erection of a Sub -Station. BIDS Moved by Councilman Owens, seconded by Council- man Lamm, the Bids be now opened, examined and publically declared: Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, Bradshaw, Morden, Malone. PARMELEE. Tax Deeded Property, was read. 70HBX 04 cc MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD MONDAY JANUARY 3, 1944. 7:30 P.M. 33 It was unanimously agreed the City Clerk be in- structed tb acknowledge receipt of the letter, and to check on information contained in Exhibit CITY CLERK TO "A" of the purchase of Tax Deeded Lands, under ACKNOWLEDGE Chapter x{294. - LETTER. The annual report of the Title Insurance and ANNUAL REPORT ORDER Trust Company on the K.S. Vosburg Memorial ED PLACED ON FILE. Clinic was presented, and ordered placed on file. Mayor Malone appointed the City Attorney a ' oommittee of one to secure necessary information TAX DEEDED LANDS and to work out A plan for the purchase and sale of Tax Deeded Lands, to report back. Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Council- man Bradshaw, the Superintendent of Light and MUTUAL AID AGREE - Water Department be instructed to sign Mutual. MENT. Aid Agreement., Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, Bradshaw, Morden, Malone. Noes: None. Absent: None. Moved by Councilman Lamm, seconded by Council- man Owens, the„City Engineer, be instructed to prepare Notice,Calling for Bids on a water pipe line, also water line, with cost of laying NOTICE CALLING FOR such line; the -City Clerk authorized and BIDS OF PIPE LINE. instructed to publish said Notice.; Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, Bradshaw, Morden, Malone. Noes: None. Absent: None. Moved by Councilman Owens, seconded by Council- man Lamm, Clinton S. Hurd be employed as a line- CLINTON S. HURD man, to serve during the pleasure of the City EMPLOYED, AT 4 Council; his salary to be $225.00 per month, SALARY OF $225..00 effedtive as of January 1, 1944._ PER MONTH. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Lamm, Bradshaw, Morden, Malone. Noes: None. Absent: None. Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Council- man Bradshaw, the following requisitions be allowed: 1732-1733-1734-1767.
