The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
regular adjourned session at the above time
and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Owens,
Jumper, Lamm, City Attorney Tscharner.
Absent: Councilmen: Memmesheimer, Morden. ROLL CALL
Mayor Lamm asked Mr. Watkins to report on
the Recreational Program.
The Committee Personnel was read and Mr.
Watkins stated that if the matter of liability REPORT ON

Councilman Owens offered a Resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF THE SUM OF RESOLUTION NO.
6500.00 BY SAID CITY OF AZUSA FOR MUSIC AND' 1823 ADOPTED.
PROMOTION.
Moved by Councilman Owens, seconded by
Councilman Jumper, this Resolution by,adopted
as read and numbered Resolution No. 1823.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Jumper, Lamm.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilmen: Memmesheimer, Morden.
Councilman Memmesheimer entered the meeting
and took his seat at the Council table.
The Committee reported on the bids submitted
by J. H. Baxter Company, Maydwell and Hartzell, BIDS AWARDED
' Inc., Joslyn Company of California and
Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing
Company.
Moved by Councilman Memmesheimer, seconded by
Councilman Owens, J. H. Baxter and Company be
granted the bid on Items No. 1 to No. 3 both
inclusive mentioned in the proposal; Maydwell
and Hartzell, Inc., be granted the bid on
Items 4 to 26 both inclusive mentioned in
the proposal; Westinghouse Electric and
Manufacturing Company be granted the bid for
furnishing capacitor units, brackets and
primary fuse cutouts.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Jumper, Memmesheimer,
Lamm.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Morden.
Moved by Councilman Memmesheimer, seconded by
Councilman Owens, all other bids be rejected. BIDS REJECTED.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Owens, Jumper, Memmesheimer
' Lamm.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman: Morden.
Mr..Clapp representing the Assets reconstruction
Corporation, addressed Council relative to the
matter of water mains, street bonds, county MR. R. E. CLAPP
taxes, city taxes, etc., effecting Tract No. ADDRESSED
8507, known as Paramount Heights Tract, in the COUNCIL.
City of Azusa.
No action taken by Council in this matter.
Moved by Councilman Owens, seconded by Council-
man Memmesheimer, and duly carried Council
adjourn.
