The City Council of the City of Azusa m et in regular
session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Owens, Jumper,
Memmesheimer, Morden, Lamm, City Attorney Tscharner ROLL CALL
and City Clerk. Absent: None.
Each member present acknowledged receipt of a written
copy of the minutes of June 4, 1945. The Mayor asked
if there'were any objections or corrections to said
minutes. There being none, the minutes of June 4, MINUTES APPROV-
1945 were approved as written. ED.
Joseph De Salvo presented a written application to
operate a taxi service.
It was unanimously agreed the Clerk advise Mr.
De Salvo that Council have granted Mr. Fitzgerald MR. DE SALVO'S
permission to operate a taxi service in Azusa. REQUEST D ENIED
The City Clerk reported on Fidelity Bond and Money
andSecurities policy for the Light and Water Depart-
ments.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Councilman
Jumper The Clerk be authorized to instruct the Royal
Indemnity Company to write a blanket fidelity bond BONDS FOR LIGHT
for Light and Water Employees at a premium of $175.00 AND WATER
for three years, also to write the Broad Form Money DEPARTMENTS
& Securities Policy at a premium of $68.75 for three AUTHORIZED
years.

Councilman Morden offered a Resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT-
ING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES RELATIVE TO EMPLOYMENT OF RESOLUTION NO.
REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION IN DRAWING PLANS FOR A 1898 ADOPTED
CITY PARK.
A letter of appreciation from the City of Glendora
was read and ordered placed on file.
The matter of State Employees' Retirement System was
discussed.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Councilman
Owens the Mayor be authorized to sign contract

Councilman Owens offered a Resolution entitled:

CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED
TO LOTS 7 and 8 IN BLOCK 69 OF LANDS OF AZUSA LAND
AND WATER COMPANY IN SAID CITY.
