The City Council of the City of Azusa ^iet in regular
session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Owens, Jumper,
Memmseheimer, Morden, Lamm, City Attorney Tscharner
and City Clerk. Absent: Mone.
Fach member present acknowledged receipt of a written
copy of the minutes of October 15, 1945. The Mayor
asked if there were any objections or corrections to
said minutes. There being none, the minutes of
October 15, 1945 were approved as written.
'The Clerk announced she had received three bids in
answer to Notice Calling for Bids on Miscellaneous
Electrical Equipment.
Moved by Councilman Owens, seconded by Councilman
Memmesheimer the Bids be now opened, examined and
publicly declared.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:

Communications from the Los Angeles County Health
Department, Herbert J. Powell, Edson Rorabeck,
Faulkner Oakes & Faulkner and the Civitan Club were
read and ordered placed on file.
A request to purchase a building site, on City owned
property offered by Lucilla E. Gongwer, was read.
Moved and carried the City Clerk be instructed to
advise Mrs. Gongwer the City is obligated to use this
particular property for park purposes.
A request for the use of the City owned playground
equipment, presented by D..Irs. Dora HiShland, Slauson
P.T.A. Playground Chairman, was read.
It was unanimously agreed the Clerk be instructed to
advise Mrs. Hi;hland that the playground equipment
referred to in her letter is a permanent installation
type and Council plan to erect it in the Veterans'
Memorial Park.

'The plans for the Veterans' Memorial Park were present-
ed. It was unanimously agreed Councilman Owens contact the
City Engineer in this matter.

Memmesheimer the Superintendent of Li.ht and Power V.
D. Smith be authorized to sign an agreement between
the City of Azusa and Southern California Edison
Company for lease of 3-250 KVA Transformers.
