The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilman Owens and City
Clerk.
Due to lack of a quorum the Clerk adjourned the
meeting until Tuesday, April 16, 1946 at 7:30 P.M.

The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
' adjourned session at the above time and place. ROLL CALL
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Jumper, Memmesheimer.
Lamm, City Attorney Tscharner and City Clerk.
Absent: Councilmen: Owens, Morden.
Each member present acknowledged receipt of a written
copy of the minutes of April 1, 1946. The Mayor MINUTES APPROVED
asked if there were any objections or corrections to
said minutes. There being none, the minutes of April
1, 1946 were approved as written.
The City Clerk stated that Bids for the purchase,of
City owned property had been received. It was moved
by Councilman Memmesheimer, seconded by Councilman BIDS TO PURCHASE
Jumper and duly carried the sealed bids be opened CITY OW1,TED
and publicly declared. Thereupon the City Clerk PROPERTY
opened the bids and the same were read by City
Attorney Tscharner as follows:
The following bids being made upon a cash basis and
each of the hereinafter numbered resolution are
entitled as follows:
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF AZUSA,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BID, QUITCLAIM DEED ONLY, TO
CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY.

Moved by Councilman Memmesheimer, seconded by Council=
man Jumper the Bid of John R. Hulls on a portion
of Lot 18, Block 11, Azusa Heights Tract and Bid of
Mr. H. R. Anderson on Lots 33 and 34, Block 37 and
Lot 9, Block 39 be held over until the next regular
meeting of Council.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Jumper, Memmesheimer, Lamm.
Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen: Owens, Morden.
Moved by Councilman Memmesheimer, seconded by Council-
man Jumper and duly carried the San Gabriel Valley
Rod and Gun Club be granted permission to use the
City Auditorium on April 24, 1946.
Moved by Councilman Memmesheimer, seconded by Council-
man Jumper the following Requisitions be allowed:

Mr. Tscharner asked for oral bids from any person
desiring to bid upon each of said parcels of property
and each and all of said bids, either written or
oral, were duly considered by the Council and the
following described offers for City owned real
property were duly and regularly accepted pursuant
to resolution numbers as hereinafter shown.
The following bids being made upon a cash basis and
each of the hereinafter numbered resolution are
entitled as follows:
