The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
Special Session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Nasser,
Jumper, Memmesheimer, Lamm, City Attorney
Tscharner and City Clerk.
Absent: Councilman Malone.
The Notice of Meeting and the affidavit of
serving said notice read as follows:
' PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a SPECIAL MEETING of the City
Council of the City of Azusa, State -of California, IS HEREBY
CALLED to be held in the Council Chambers of said City on
Monday, June 302 1947, at 7:00 ofclock, P.M. for the purpose
of considering a proposed Agreement between the City of Azusa
and Rolla E. Clapp and others relative to the Tax Deeded
Property described as Tract 8507 in the City of Azusa.

I hereby certify that I received the attached "NOTICE OF
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE -CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA"
at 3:50 P.M. on the 27th day of June, 1947 and that I served
the same on the hereinafter named persons, who are members
of the City Council of the City of Azusa, at the time set
after their respective names, by personally delivering to
and leaving with said persons a true copy of the attached
"NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OR AZUSA."

The Assets Reconstruction Corporation, Ltd.,
interested in the tax deeded property located in
Tract 8507, was represented by its President,
Rolla E. Clapp and Attorney Mr. Bower, the entire
situation was discussed and by the request made
by said parties the following action was taken by
the City Council in respect to the exercising of
option to purchase State Tax Deeds:
Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Councilman
Memmesheimer BE IT RESOLVED that this Council at this
meeting does hereby go on record that the City of
Azusa will not exercise its option to purchase the
State Tax Deeds to lots in Tract 8507 until on or
after the let day of October, 1947 unless mandamus
proceedings or other proceedings are commenced prior
to that time by any person claiming any interest in
said properties either against the City or County
of Los Angeles or any Officers thereof in respect
to publishing the Notice as required by Chapter 8,
Division 1 Part 6 of Revenue and Taxation Code or
restraining the County of Los Angeles or its
Officers of executing Deeds to any of the said
property to the City of Azusa.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Nasser, Jumper, Meme sheimer,
Latton. Noes'; None, Absent: Councilman Malone.
Moved by Councilman Jumper, seconded by Councilman
Memmesheimer and duly carried Council adjourn. ,
