The City Council of the City of Azusa at its regular meeting on
Tuesday, July 5, 1949, duly recessed itself into the Board of
Equalization as provided by law for the purpose of receiving
applications for equalization adjustments and equalization of
assessments and for hearing evidence in connection with such
applications.
The City Assessor presented to the Board the Assessment Roll
for said City.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Nasser, Ortuno, Malone,
Memmesheimer, Jumper, City Attorney Tscharner and City Clerk.
Moved by Councilman Nasser, seconded by Councilman Ortuno and
duly carried that the Board of Equalization adjourn to meet
on Wednesday, July 6, 1949 at 9:00 o'clock A.M. at the regular
Council Chambers.

The City Council of the City of Azusa met as a Board of Equali-
zation at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Nasser, Ortuno, Malone,
Jumper, City Attorney Tscharner and City Clerk.
Absent: Councilman Memmesheimer.
Written verified applications for reduction of assessed valuations
of certain properties were filed by the following, to -wit: Selma
Moyer and Dean B. Bessire.
Both of the above applicants submitted testimony in support of
' their applications.
At 11:00 o'clock A.M. it was moved by Councilman Malone, seconded
by Councilman Ortuno and duly carried that the Board of Equali-
zation be recessed to meet at 1:00 o'clock of said day at its
regular chambers.

The Board of Equalization reconvened at 1:00 o'clock P.M. at its
regular chambers.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Nasser, Ortuno, Malone, City
Attorney Tscharner and City Clerk.
Absent: Councilmen: Memmesheimer and Jumper.
Sworn applications for adjustment of assessment on their proper-
ties were filed by Claude S. Gillett, Mrs. Evelyn Boneum,
Frances M. Alsup. All petitioners were heard in connection
with their applications.
At 4:00 o'clock P.M. it was moved by Councilman Malone, seconded
by Councilman Ortuno and duly carried that the Board of Equali-
zation adjourn to meet at 9:00 o'clock A.M. on Thursday, July 7,
1949.
