The City Council of the City of Azusa met
in regular session at the above time and
place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Nasser,
Ortuno, Flannery, Malone, Memmeaheimer,
City Attorney Tscharner and City Clerk. ROLL CALL
Absent: None
Each member present acknowledged receipt
of a written copy of the minutes of
February 6, 1950. The Mayor asked if
' there were any objections or corrections
to said minutes. There being none, the
minutes of.February 6, 1950 were approved
as written. y
Councilman Nasser reported that the
Committee recommend that all bids on-'
gasoline be'rejected and Council re -
advertise for bids.
Moved•by Councilman Nasser, seconded by
Councilman Ortuno all bids received for
the City's annual supply of gasoline be
rejected -and the City Clerk instructed to
re -advertise for bids on gasoline to be
opened March 20, 1950.
Moved by Councilman Malone, seconded by
Councilman Nasser the bids be referred
to Supt. V. D. Smith and City Engineer,
Brooks for checking and report.

A letter from Harold J. Caldwell,
Treasurer of the Azusa Retail Business
Association enclosing a check for $579.50,
the Azusa Merchant's contribution to
the Christmas Decoration expense, was
offered.
Moved and carried same be placed on
file and the money deposited in the
General Fund.
' A communication from Randal F. Dickey,
Chairman Assembly Air and Water.Pollution
Committee, relative to "Notice of Public
Hearings" was read.
It was unanimously agreed that the
Chief of Police attend the meetings
on smog control.
