A RESOLUTION OF THE OVERSIGHT BOARD TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING OF
QUITCLAIM DEEDS CONVEYING ASSESSOR PARCEL NO.'S 8684-019-
9009 8608-028-901, 8608-028-903, 8608-028-9049 8608-028-908 8608-028-9109
AND 8621-024-905 FROM THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE CITY OF
AZUSA IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CITY OF AZUSA'S SUCCESSOR
AGENCY LONG RANGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, pursuant to Health & Safety Code Section 34191.5(b) the Successor Agency
prepared a long range property management plan ("LRPMP") that addressed the disposition and use
of the real properties of the Redevelopment Agency, which was submitted and approved by the
Oversight Board for the Successor Agency ("Oversight Board") and California Department of
Finance ("DOF"); and
WHEREAS, Property 13 in the LRPMP's is located at 1403 N. San Gabriel Canyon Road,
more particularly identified as Assessor Parcel No. 8684-019-900. The current use of this property is
a street median and it has no commercial market value. The LRPMP recommends that this property
be retained by the City of Azusa ("City") for governmental use as a landscaped street median; and
WHEREAS, Property 14 is a senior citizens parking lot, more particularly identified as
Assessor Parcel No.'s 8608-028-901, 8608-028-903, 8608-028-904, 8608-028-908 and 8608-028-
910, and has no commercial market value. The LRPMP recommends that the City retain the
property for governmental uses as a parking lot for the Azusa Senior Citizens Center; and
WHEREAS, Property 15 in the LRPMP is located at 17511 E. Arrow Highway, more
particularly identified as Assessor Parcel No. 8621-024-905. This property is the subject of an
agreement with Charvat Family, LLC. The LRPMP recommends that the City retain this property to
satisfy the former RDA's obligations under the previous existing agreement.
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the Oversight Board find that the conveyance of these
properties pursuant to quitclaim deeds is consistent with the Long Range Property Management Plan
and ratify the Successor Agency's approval of the conveyances.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE OVERSIGHT BOARD TO THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY
OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The conveyance pursuant to the quitclaim deeds is consistent with and does
implement the disposition of property pursuant to the approved Long Range Property Management
Plan.
SECTION 2: That the Oversight Board approves the Successor Agency's approval of the
quitclaim deeds and directs the Executive Director to take all such actions as are necessary and
appropriate to implement the transaction.

SECTION 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
