BUTZLAFF, ICMA-CM, CITY MANAGER FROM: DANIEL BOBADILLA, P.E., DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER DATE: APRIL 3, 2017 SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF FINAL PARCEL MAP NO. 73554 FOR AN INDUSTRIAL/OFFICE BUILDING PROJECT LOCATED AT 301 AEROJET AVENUE SUMMARY: On September 16, 2015, the Planning Commission approved a tentative parcel map for an industrial/office building project located at 301 Aerojet Avenue. The proposed actions will approve Final Parcel Map 73554. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions: 1) Find that this project complies with the General Plan and is consistent with the approved tentative parcel map and any amendments thereto; and 2) Find that this project is in compliance with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act; and 3) Approve Final Parcel Map 73554; and 4) Authorize the City Clerk and City Treasurer to endorse the certificates on the face of the map, which embodies the approval of Final Parcel Map 73554. DISCUSSION: The Planning Commission approved a tentative parcel map on September 16, 2015 by CT Realty. The project consists of three industrial and office buildings totaling over 181,000 square feet, located on an 8.35 acre site at 301 Aerojet Avenue. APPROVED CITY COUNCIL Date: 4/3/2017 Final Parcel Map 73554 April 3, 2017 Page 2 The final parcel map has been approved by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works and certified by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer for conformance with the Subdivision Map Act, City Ordinances, and the approved tentative parcel map.
