BUTZLAFF, ICMA-CM, CITY MANAGER FROM: ADRIAN GARCIA, CMC, CHIEF DEPUTY CITY CLERK DATE: FEBRUARY 6, 2017 SUBJECT: REQUEST TO CANCEL FEBRUARY 21, 2017 REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING DUE TO A LACK OF BUSINESS SUMMARY: Due to an anticipated lack of business, the February 21, 2017 Regular City Council Meeting is requested to be canceled. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action: 1) Cancel the scheduled Regular City Council Meeting of February 21, 2017. DISCUSSION: The second February Regular City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 21st. Due to an anticipated lack of business, Staff is recommending that the City Council cancel the February 21, 2017 Regular City Council Meeting. The next scheduled Regular City Council meeting is Monday, March 6, 2017. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact associated with the recommended action.
