LACASELLA, MANAGEMENT ANALYST DATE: JANUARY 5, 2016 SUBJECT: UPDATE ON COUNCIL ADOPTED GOALS AND OBJECTIVES SUMMARY: On April 27, 2015, the City Council met with Staff to establish goals and set priorities for fiscal year 2015-2016. This report is an update on the progress that has been made toward accomplishing this year’s goals and objectives. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action: 1)Receive and file the Goals and Objectives Tracking Matrix. DISCUSSION: On April 27, 2015, the City Council, City Manager and City Department Heads met to establish goals and set priorities for fiscal year 2015-2016. Since April, City Staff has been working diligently to complete the goals laid out by the City Council. The attached matrix has been developed for tracking the status of these goals and the individual objectives. This matrix will be periodically updated to ensure the goals and objectives are being accomplished. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. Responsibility for downtown landscape maintenance has been transferred to Public Works. Public Works will soon begin to replace all damaged sidewalk tiles.
