A. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
1. (Person/Group shall be allowed to speak without interruption up to five (5) minutes maximum
time, subject to compliance with applicable meeting rules. Questions to the speaker or responses
to the speaker’s questions or comments shall be handled after the speaker has completed his/her
comments. Public Participation will be limited to sixty (60) minutes time.)

D. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Consent Calendar adopting the printed recommended action will be enacted with one vote. If Staff or
Councilmembers wish to address any item on the Consent Calendar individually, it will be considered
under SPECIAL CALL ITEMS.
1. Minutes of the Regular Utility Board Meeting on March 26, 2018.
Recommendation: 1) Approve minutes as written.
2. Approval of Temporary Water Rights Leasing Transactions.
Recommendation: 1) Approve water rights lease agreements with the City of Monrovia and
Valley County Water District; and 2) Authorize the Director of Utilities to execute same, pursuant
to Utility Board Resolution 09-C69.
3. Approval of the Notice of Completion for the Well 5 Rehabilitation Capital Improvement
Project.
Recommendation: 1) Accept Well 5 project improvements outlined in Task Order Number 1 and
2; 2) Approve the Notice of Completion; 3) Authorize the Mayor to execute the document on
behalf of the City; and 4) Authorize the City Clerk to submit the Notice of Completion for
recordation to the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, within ten days of the
Utility Board approval, as required by Section 3093 of the California Civil Code.
4. Award Task Order 6 for Well 6 Emergency Rehabilitation to General Pump Company.
Recommendation: 1) Award Task Order 6 – Well 6 Rehabilitation to General Pump Company,
under the existing Master Maintenance Service Agreement, for a not to exceed amount of
$227,328.87.
E. SCHEDULED ITEMS
1. Adjustment of the Electric Rate Schedules.
Recommendation: 1) Adopt Resolution UB-16-2018, a resolution of the Utility Board/City
Council of the City of Azusa, California to amend Azusa Light &Water’s Electric Rate Schedules.
2. MillerCoors Water Rate Adjustment, Effective May 1, 2018.
Recommendation: 1) Adopt Resolution No. UB-17-2018 adjusting water rates for MillerCoors,
LLC, effective May 1, 2018.
