Persons who wish to speak during the Public Comment shall fill out a card requesting to speak and shall submit it to
the City Clerk prior to the start of the meeting. Each person or representative of a group shall be allowed to speak
without interruption for up to three (3) continuous minutes. Pursuant to the Brown Act (California Government Code,
Section 54950 et seq.), no matter shall be acted upon by the Oversight Board unless listed on the agendapostedprior
to the meeting.
C. AGENDA ITEMS.
1. RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF
JUNE 28, 2017.
Recommended Action:
Adopt Resolution No. 2017-01308, approving the minutes of the special meeting of June 28, 2017,
D. SCHEDULED ITEMS.
1. APPROVAL. OF QUITCLAIM DEEDS CONVEYING ASSESSOR PARCEL NO.'S 8684-1119-900,
8608-028-901, 8608-028-903, 8608-028-904, 8608-028-908 8608-028-910, AND 8621-024-905 FROM
THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE CITY OF AZUSA IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CITY
OF AZUSA'S SUCCESSOR AGENCY LONG RANGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PLAN
RECOMMENDATIONS.
Recommended Action:
Adopt Resolution No. 2017-OB09 approving the transfer by Quitclaim Deeds Assessor Parcel No.'s 8684-019-
900, 8608-028-901, 8608-028-903, 8608-028-904, 8608-028-908 8608-028-910, and 8621-024-905 from the
Successor Agency to the City of Azusa in compliance with the Successor Agency's long range property
management plan recommendations.
2. APPROVAL OF PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY
TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AND RAPHAEL GLENOAKS,
LLC. FOR SALE OF REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 975 W. FOOTHILL BLVD.
(APNS 8605-019-906, 8605-019-907).
Recommended Action:
Adopt Resolution No. 2017-01310, including the finding that the sale is consistent with the Long Range
Property Management Plan and ratifying the sale approved by the Successor Agency pursuant to the Purchase
and Sale Agreement; and authorize the City Manager, acting as the Successor Agency Executive Director, to
take all other actions reasonably necessary to implement the Purchase and Sale Agreement and the intent of
this action.
RATIFICATION TO ISSUE 2017 TAX ALLOCATION REFUNDING BONDS TO REFUND 2007A
AND 2007B TAX ALLOCATION BONDS.
Recommended Action:
Adopt Resolution No. 2017 -OB 11 approving and directing the issuance of refunding bonds, making certain
determinations with respect to the refunding bonds and providing other matters relating thereto.
