ORDINANCE NO. 91-05
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING THE PENAL CODE
REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO THE SELECTION
AND TRAINING STANDARDS OF PUBLIC SAFETY
DISPATCHERS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Azusa declares that it
desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of
California under the provisions of Section 13522, Chapter 1,
of Title 4, Part 4, of the California Penal Code.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 13510(c) , Chapter 1,
the City of Azusa will adhere to standards for recruitment
and training established by the California Commission on
Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T. ) .
SECTION 3 . Pursuant to Section 13512, Chapter 1,
the Commission and its representatives may make such
inquiries deemed appropriate by the Commission to ascertain
that the Azusa Police Department public safety dispatcher
personnel adhere to standards for selection and training
established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and
Training.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published as required by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 91-05
was regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading
at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 6th day of
May , 1991 That thereafter, said Ordinance was
duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 20th day of May , 19 91 , by the
following vote, to wit:
