The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular adjourned session at the
above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Jackson,
Hernandez, Seltzer, Memmesheimer, Jones,
City Attorney Snidow and City Clerk. Ab- ROLL CALL
sent: None.
Mayor Jones explained that this meeting was
being held to consider the resignations of
Patrolmen Lynch, Culler and Bednarski.
' Councilman Seltzer said he had made the RESIGNATION OF CERTAIN
motion to adjourn with the thought in mind PATROLMAN
that Council be given time to consider the
matter and in his opinion Council had not
had sufficient time to take into consideration
all the aspects of the case.
Moved by Councilman Seltzer, seconded by
Councilman Hernandez that Council designate
a time to meet with the Police Department PATROUiAN TO BE HEARD
so that each individual man could be heard
and an attempt made to arrive at some
decision respecting the problems involved.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Hernandez, Seltzer,
Memmesheimer,Jones.
Noes: Councilmen: Jackson. Absent: None
Mayor Jones announced that letters and petitions
had been received during the day, that they
would not be read at this time, but would be LETTERS TO E=,GIVEN
given every consideration by Council.
CONSIDERATION
Moved by Councilman Seltzer, seconded by
' Councilman Hernandez and duly carried
Council adjourn.
