The meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. by David Santellan; who led the group in the CALL TO ORDER
Pledge of Allegiance.
PRESENT: Condie Lopez, Pam Mercado, David Santellan and Joe Torres ROLL CALL

Minutes of July 18, 2013 were approved by David Santellan, seconded by Condie Lopez. MINUTES APPROVED
Consent calendar item #1, 2 and 4, was approved with standard fees, conditions and/or
modifications as noted #3 was tabled requesting more information, on a motion by Pam CONSENT CALENDAR
Mercado seconded by Condie Lopez. ITEMS:
1. Request use of Memorial Park SE Field on August 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 9:oo a.m. to
1:0o p.m. by Scott Barker for practice. BARKER MPK SE FIELD
2. Request use of North Recreation Center on December 21, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8/17,18, 24&25
12:00 a.m. by Teresa Mendez for a end of the year party. MENDEZ NRC 12/21
3. Request use of Memorial Park concrete area on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30
p.m.to 9:30 a.m. by Ashley Margan for a roller skating practice. Tabled MARGAN MPK AREA T/TH
4. Request use of 1 grill on August 19, 2013 from 7:oo to 11:00 a.m. by Jo Ann Gomez for GOMEZ BBQ GRILL
a teacher orientation. 8/19
Staff updated Commission on all programs and projects. STAFF UPDATE
With no further business,the meeting was adjourned at 6:13 p.m. ADJOURN
