CITY HALL AZUSA, CALIFORNIA THURSDAY AUGUST 20, 1953 7:00 P:M.
Mr. Danner appeared before the Council in
regard to relocating his cabinet shop busi-
ness. He -was advised to take -the matter
before Mr. Smith and the Planning Commission
for reconsideration.
City Engineer Brooks explained to the Council
the difficulty-,of'applying aecoustical-tile to
the ceiling and walls because of the nature of
the plaster.
Moved -by Councilman Seltzer, seconded by Coun-
cilman Memmesheimer that Engineer be instructed
to get prices and methods:,for conditioning the
plaster so that the may be•applied.
Motion carried by unanimous vote of Council.
Moved by Councilman Seltzer, seconded by Coun-
cilman Hernandez Council adjourn until August
' 21, 1953 at 7:00 P. M.

Lucky Lager Brewing Company requested per-
mission of the Council to enter float in New
Year's parage at Pasadena in the name of City
of Azusa. It was.' -:suggested -that the Chamber
of Commerce -be notified and that the Chamber
would check plans; etc., and recommend to the
' Council.
It is the desire of the City Council to keep
radios which have been taken out of city equip-
ment instead of selling them.

The Clerk announced that 74 ballots had ^been given
out,.two had been returned unclaimed, one had
been turned in at the voters precinct, five
were --not returned and 66•had been checked for
proper signature and were available to be
counted.
