A. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
1. (Person/Group shall be allowed to speak without interruption up to five (5) minutes maximum
time, subject to compliance with applicable meeting rules. Questions to the speaker or responses
to the speaker’s questions or comments shall be handled after the speaker has completed his/her
comments. Public Participation will be limited to sixty (60) minutes time.)

2. Acceptance of Grant of Permanent Easement for Water Utility Purposes from Property
Owner Meritage Homes of California Inc. for Tract 74512-1 Portions of Lot 1 & B, in the City
Of Covina.
Recommendation: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 2018-UB-04 accepting Grant of Permanent
Easement or water utility purposes from property owner Meritage Homes of California, Inc. for
Tract 74512-1 of Lot 1 & B in the City of Covina; 2) Acceptance of Grant of Permanent Easement
for water utility purposes from property owner Meritage Homes of California, Inc. for Tract 74512-
1 of Lot 1 & B in the City of Covina; and 3) Authorize the City Clerk to file the easement
documents in the Office of the Los Angeles County Recorder.

3. Acceptance of Quitclaim of Water Easement on Tract 74512-1 at 1162 N. Citrus Avenue, in
the City Of Covina.
Recommendation: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 2018-UB-05 accepting Quitclaim of Easement on
Tract 74512-1, in the City of Covina; 2) Acceptance of Quitclaim of Easement on Tract 74512-1,
in the City of Covina; and 3) Authorize the City Clerk to file the easement documents in the Office
of the Los Angeles County Recorder.

4. Award Engineering Services to Cypress Transmission Rehabilitation Project W-277.
Recommendation: 1) Award Professional Engineering Services for the Cypress Transmission
Rehabilitation Project W-277 to Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. under the existing Professional
Services Agreement, for a not-to-exceed price of $170,800.
