HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 94-O2 ORDINANCE NO. 9 4-02 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, AMENDING CHAPTER 8.60, SECTION 8.60.120 OF THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO VIDEO GAME ARCADES The City Council of the City of Azusa, does hereby ordains as follows: SECTION 1: Chapter 8.60, Section 8.60.120 of the Azusa Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "8.60.120 OPERATING REQUIREMENTS. (a) All mechanical and electronic games must be visible from the entrance, and the entrance must be unlocked during all times that the premises in question are open for business. (b) All windows and glass doors which provide a view of the premises shall remain unobstructed at all times. All entrances and interior areas shall be adequately lighted, and the lighting plan shall be approved as part of the permit. (c) Each premises having four or more mechanical or electronic games shall provide a minimum of two toilets and lavatory facilities accessible to customers, employees and business invitees. (d) No one under the age of fourteen years shall be allowed or permitted to operate any mechanical or electronic games unless a responsible adult or parent is present." SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify as to the passage and adoption of this ordinance amendment and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed by law. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED thisl8thth day of January , 1994. MAYOR I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance No. 94-02 was regularly introduced - and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 4th day of January 1994. That thereafter, said Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 18th day of January 1994 , by the following vote, to wit: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: DANGLEIS, MADRID, NARANJO, ALEXANDER, MOSES.
