The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. by Johnny Sanchez. Mary Sandlin
led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance.
PRESENT: Condie Lopez, Joe Torres, Mary Sandlin, and Johnny Sanchez
STAFF: Joe Jacobs, Associate Director of Recreation and Parks CALL TO ORDER

Minutes of the August 2, 2001 no quorum. Minutes of July 19 were approved. MINUTES APPROVED
Consent calendar items #1-3 and late items #4-7 were approved with standard CONSENT CALENDAR

STAFF UPDATE
Staff updated Commission on ongoing and upcoming Recreation activities. Trees in lot
adjacent to Arby's lacked water as reported by (2) Commissioners. Ross Montes, Sr.
Tree Trimmer will be alerted to problem.
