MINUTES APPROVED Consent calendar items 1,3&4 were approved on a motion by Donna McCormick, CONSENT CALENDAR seconded by Joe Torres. Item #2 was pulled at the request of applicant siting a ITEMS: change of plans. 1. Request from Rudy Sornoso to use Pioneer Park northeast section on February RUDY SORNOSO 10, 2001, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. fora birthday party. 2. Request from Jennie Ramirez to use Memorial Park Day Camp room and JENNIE RAMIREZ kitchen on January 20, 2001, from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. for a baby shower. (APPLICATION PULLED) 3. Request from Kathy Rosales and Jr.All American Football to use meeting room at Memorial Park for JAAF board on the second Tuesday of each month KATHY ROSALES January 9 through July 10,2001,from 7:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. (January/February only 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.). 4. Request from Maria Arguelles to use Pioneer Park northeast section on February MARIA ARGUELLES 17, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for birthday party/family gathering. Staff updated Commission on ongoing and upcoming recreation activities. STAFF UPDA1E Review of the facility use application was done. Staff to research policy on"Azusa REVIEW OF FACILITY US Soccer Club, as well as comparing field use and fees of neighboring communities APPLICATION and obtaining current data on electricity use and fees with respect to ball field usage. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:50 p.m. ADJOURN Next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2001, at 5:00 p.m. at Memorial NEXT MTG. 1/4/01 Park.
