F. Mr. and Mrs. Madrigal came to the commission to propose a change to the MR. & MRS. MADRIGAL
venue for their 8/14/99 event, (previously approved by commission for Pioneer
Park), due to the fact that amplified music is not allowed at Pioneer. After a
brief discussion, the group agreed that Memorial Park was a suitable venue.
Motion made by Condie Lopez and seconded by David Santellan.
G. Request from Marco Torres to use moon bounce at Slauson Park Saturday,
August 7, 1999 from 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
APPLICATIONS FOR
Commission inquired as to availability of applications for commission positions. Staff COMMISSION
to contact Clerk's office and bring to next meeting. POSITIONS
Staff updated Commission on ongoing and upcoming Recreation activities. ACTIVITIES UPDATE
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m. ADJOURN
Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 19, 1999, at 5:00 p.m. at the NEXT MEETING 8/19/99
Memorial Park Recreation Center.
