Harry also led the CALL TO ORDER dge of Allegiance. PRESENT: David Santellan, Johnny Sanchez, Condie Lopez, Harry Hoke, Donna ROLL CALL McCormick. STAFF: Joe Jacobs, Recreation Superintendent; Rich Rivera, Parks Supervisor. EXCUSED: Joe Torres, Marvin Sandlin. Minutes of June 3, 1999, were approved; motioned by Harry Hoke, seconded by MINUTES APPROVED David Santellan. Consent calendar items #1 through #4, and late agenda items A and B, were CONSENT CALENDAR approved with standard fees and conditions. Motioned by David Santellan, ITEMS: seconded by Johnny Sanchez. 1. Request from Cheryl Stewart at Azusa Library to use (4) EZ ups and (7) tables CHERYL STEWART, and chairs for summer reading program kick off program Tuesday, June 22, AZUSA LIBRARY 1999 from 10:30a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 2. Request from Annette Cifu to use pool for Birthday Party, Saturday, June 26, ANNETTE CIFU 1999 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. 3. Request from Burke Hamilton/Boy Scout Pack 409 to use 3 pancake grills July BOY SCOUT PACK 409 4, 1999 for fund-raising breakfast. Request from Shannon Petrovick to use Pioneer Park(northern section) for SHANNON PETROVICK Birthday Party, Saturday August 28, 1999 from 9:00a.m.-6:00p.m. A. Request from Veronica Cassillas to use northeast section of Pioneer Park on VERONICA CASSILLAS Saturday, July 3, 1999, from 12:00-7:00 p.m. for baptism BBQ. B. Request from Brad Clavol and Pony Baseball to use room in Recreation Center BRAD CLAVOL for meeting from 7:00-10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 1999, and Wednesday, June 23, 1999. Staff updated Commission on ongoing and upcoming Recreation activities. Staff STAFF REPORT also provided answers to Mountain Cove project. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:35 p.m. ADJOURN Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 1, 1999, at 5:00 p.m. at the Memorial NEXT MEETING 7/1/99 Park Recreation Center.
