The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. by President Marvin Sandlin the Memorial Park CALL TO ORDER

Minutes were approved with the correction of Junior All American Football (not Little League) MINUTES
for??? Follow up correction at the next meeting. Motion by Joe Ton-es, seconded by Johnny CORRECTION

Request by the Chamber of Commerce to use P.A. System, Speakers, Microphones at the USE OF PA SYSTEM
Azusa Woman's Club for Miss Azusa Practice on 3/10/98 and the actual Pageant on 3/13/98. FOR MISS AZUSA
Approved with standard conditions by motion of Harry Hoke, seconded by David Santellan. PAGEANT
Motion carried.
Request by the Azusa Senior Center to use 12 8' aluminum tables and 2 pop-ups for April 4, SENIOR CENTER TO
1998 Parking Lot Sale. Approved with standard conditions by motion of David Santellan, USE TABLES & POP-
seconded by Condie Lopez. Motion carried. UPS
Request by Murray School to use BBQ's for school Science Breakfast. Approved with new MURRAY SCHOOL TO
understanding of$25 fee for filling Of propane tank. Motion by Condie Lopez seconded by USE BBQ'S

Request by Gutierrez and Rodriguez families to use the Moon Bounce for a family party at MOON BOUNCE 3/7/98
Pioneer Park on March 7, 1998 from noon to 8:00 p.m.. We have copy of proof of insurance.

Request by staff for use of the Memorial Park Gym and chairs, 2 tables, P.A. System and STAFF TO USE
Helium Tank for a Class Recital (100-200 persons to attend) on Friday March 27, 1998 MEMORIAL

Jo Ann Coppola reported that Head Start must go out for formal bid again to replace the sand HEAD START FORMAL

California Trail Days has designated April 25 & 26, 1998 as spring dates to sponsor CALIF. TRAILS DAY
awareness events in California. September 26, 1998 they have designated as High 4/26 &4/26
Mountains Trail Day. Local organizations are encouraged to coordinate their own special

Commissioners are invited by the City of Azusa Planning Commission to attend their PLANNING COMM
March 11, 1998, 7:30 p.m. meeting in the Civic auditorium when there will be a 4/11/98
presentation about Western Metal In Architecture.
With there being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:28 p.m. ADJOURN
The next meeting of the Azusa Parks and Recreation Commission will be April 5, 1998 at NEXT MEETING
5:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Recreation Center. 4/5/98
