The meeting was called to order at 5:06 p.m. by Chairman, Jose Torres. David Santellan CALL TO ORDER
led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The minutes of January 4, 1996 were approved as mailed. MINUTES APPROVED
Items 1 - 4 were approved on a single motion by Jack Bean, seconded by David CONSENT
Santellan: CALENDAR
1. Request from Tammy Jack to use Teen Center on Saturday, January 20, 1996, TAMMY JACK
10:00 to 6:00 p.m. for child's birthday party.
Recommendation: Approve
2. Request from Azusa Chamber of Commerce to use the Senior Center on Friday, C OF C
February 9, 1996, 9:00 - 11:30 p.m. for Miss Azusa Reception.
Recommendation: Approve
3. Request from Lee School to use Slauson Pool on Tuesday, June 18, 1996, 10:00 LEE SCHOOL/POOL
a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for end of school year swim party.
Recommendation: Approve with appropriate fees.
4. Tabled request from Azusa Pacific University to use all bleachers on March 22, APU - BLEACHERS
1996, 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. for "Night of Champions". 3/22/96

Request from Morris National to use Memorial Park Southeast field on January 25, MORRIS NATIONAL
February 1 and February 15, 1996 was presented. It was moved by Jack Bean, MPKSE FIELD
seconded by David Santellan and unanimously approved with appropriate fees.
Staff gave a brief update on Department programs. DEPT. PROGRAMS
The annual Statement of Economic Interest (Form 730) were distributed, they are due in ECONOMIC
