1. Request from American Red Cross to use Slauson Pool from May 26 thru June 18, from 3:30-
7:30 p.m. Reciprocal relationship would allow for Red Cross Learn to Swim Materials, cards
and registration to be provided at no cost in exchange for Pool use.
Recommendation: Approve with standard rules & restrictions.
2. Request by Lee School to use Pool Thursday, June 11, 1998 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. for annual
end of school celebration (2nd grade classes only).
Recommendation: approve with appropriate fees.
3. Request by Marrie Sanchez to use Day Camp room for Baby Shower Saturday, June 13, 1998
from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Recommendation: approve with appropriate fees.
4. Request by Edward Barrios for use of Pioneer Park, NE section Sunday, June 21, 1998 from 8:00
a.m. - 6:00 p.m. for family party.
Recommendation: approve with appropriate fees.
5. Request by Azusa Golden Days Committee - AUSD for use of Slauson Pool for fundraiser for
operation Santa Clothes, Saturday, July 18 from 4:30- 6:30 p.m.
Recommendation: approve with appropriate fees.
6. Request by Azusa Elks to use NE section of Pioneer Park on Sunday, August 9, from 8:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. for major Lodge charity.
Recommendation: approve with appropriate fees.
7. Request of Azusa Community Services Department to use Pool, Friday, August 14, 1998 from
7:30- 9:30 p.m. for end of summer Playground Pool Party & movie night. Program to be held
during recreational swimming, no fee to be assessed. ,
