AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA CHANGING THE ZONE OF
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 1058 AND
1064 HOLLYVALE STREET FROM R-lc (SINGLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO M-2 (GENERAL
MANUFACTURING) - ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. Z-
253
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa
does hereby find, determine and declare that:
a. The applicant, Azusa Credit Union, has
applied to the City for a change of zone of the
subject property from R-lc (Single-Family
Residential) to M-2 (General Manufacturing) . The
subject property is generally described as 1058 and
1064 Hollyvale Street and is legally described
as: Lots 137 and 138 of Tract number 10660, in the
City of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 164, pages
13 and 14 of Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County and as shown on file with
the City Clerk;
b. The change in amendment to the zoning
ordinance as set forth below for the subject
property was duly initiated, and notice of public
hearing thereon were duly given and published in
accordance with applicable law;
c. The public hearings thereon were duly held
by the Planning Commission of the City: of Azusa on
September 3, 1986, and by the City Council of the
City of Azusa on October 6, 1986.
d. On September 3, 1986, the Planning
Commission of the City of Azusa by Resolution
No. 2369 recommended to the City Council that the
zone change classification proposed to be adopted
for the subject property be approved.
e. The City Council has considered all of the
information presented to it at the public hearing
held on October 6, 1986, and finds, determines and
declares that the public necessity, convenience,
general welfare and good zoning practice require
that the zone text amendment and zone change set
forth in this ordinance be made.
f. This change of zone is consistent with the
General Plan of the City of Azusa and each of its
elements.
g. In taking this action the City Council
considered the effects of the decision on the

housing needs of the region in which the City is
located and balanced those needs against the public
service needs of the City residents and available
fiscal and environmental resources.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of
Section 19.06.010 of the Azusa Municipal Code anu the zoning
map referred to therein, the subject property described in
this ordinance is hereby placed in the M-2 (general
manufacturing) zone.
SECTION 3. Upon the effective date of this
ordinance, the Director of Community Development shall
revise the Official Zoning map of the City of Azusa to
reflect the change in zone of the subject property.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
in the manner required by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 2329 was
regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 3rd day of
November , 1986. That thereafter, said Ordinance was
duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 17th day of Navr1986, by the following
vote, to wit:
