AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING CODE AMENDMENTS
TO CHAPTER 11 OF AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE,
VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, DESIGNATING CITY
ENGINEER AS INSTALLATION AUTHORITY
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does
hereby determine and declare the following amendments to Chapter
11, Vehicles and Traffic, of the Azusa Municipal Code:
11. 04. 020 Bus Loading Zone• designated by the
City Engineer for the loading and unloading of
11. 12 . 010 Installation Authority: (a) with the City
Council approval, the City Engineer is authorized to place and
maintain official traffic control devices

11. 28 . 150 Taxi Stands. (a) The City Council is
authorized to establish by resolution the
location of taxi stands, and the City
Engineer is authorized to
11.28. 160 Bus Zones. (a) The City Engineer is
authorized to establish bus zones
(c) evidence has been presented to
the City Engineer showing the necessity
therefor, the City Engineer may extend bus
zones not to exceed a total length of fifty
feet.
11. 28 . 190 Angle. (a) The Council by resolution shall
authorize upon what streets angle parking
shall be permitted. The City Engineer shall
then indicate such places
11. 36. 010 Establishment - Sign Posting. (a)
The City Engineer shall post appropriate
signs
11. 40. 010 Safety zone establishment. The City Engineer
is authorized to establish safety zones
11. 56. 010 Crosswalk - Establishment. The City Engineer
shall establish, designate, and maintain
crosswalks
(1) crosswalks may be established and
maintained at intersections and at other
places where the City Engineer determines
11. 60. 010 Parking. (a) The City Engineer is
authorized to designate and establish bicycle
parking spaces for use The City
Engineer may also authorize the placing of

of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 2427 was
regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 4th day of
December ," 1989. That thereafter, said Ordinance was
duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 21st day of December , 1989, by the following
