AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO COMPENSATION OF THE
CITY CLERK.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends Section
2.20.010 of the Azusa Municipal Code to read in full as follows :
"SECTION 2.20.010 CITY CLERK - SALARY, BONDING. "
For and during the term of office of the City Clerk
of the City, the salary of said City Clerk of said City shall be the
sum of Seventeen Hundred Forty Three Dollars and No Cents ($1,743.00)
per month, said salary shall comprise the entire compensation of said
City Clerk as such, and all fees collected by said City Clerk as
such City Clerk, except as now or thereafter provided by law, shall
be forthwith paid into the Treasury of the City.
For and during the term of office of such City Clerk
of the City, and for and during each succeeding term of office of
such City Clerk until otherwise provided in accordance with law,
the said City Clerk shall furnish said City with a proper bond in
the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars, in the form and manner required
by law, to be paid by the City.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of the Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
as required by law.

I, CONSTANCE LARA, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Azusa,
do hereby certify that the above Ordinance No. 2097 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at an adjourned regular
meeting of the City Council on the 30th day of June, 1980, and that
thereafter, said Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 7th day of July, 1980, by the
following vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Moses, Solem
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
