AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING SECTION 2. 08. 020 OF THE AZUSA
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE QUALIFICATIONS
AND APPOINTMENT OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 2. 08. 020 of the Azusa Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2. 08. 020 APPOINTMENT - QUALIFICATIONS
The City Administrator shall be appointed by and
serve at the pleasure of the City Council, and
shall be chosen on the basis of his educational
and experiential qualifications, which shall
include a Bachelor' s Degree in Public Administration
or related field, a Master' s Degree in Public
Administration or related field is desirable, and
substantial municipal administrative experience. "
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required by law.

I, ADOLPH A. SOLIS, City Clerk of the City of Azusa, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 2192 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 7th day of November , 1983. That,
thereafter, said Ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 21st day of November, 1983 ,
by the following vote to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS : NONE
