HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 2043 ORDINANCE NO. 2043 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY CODICIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REZONING CERTAIN PREMISES (THE ZONE CHANGE CASE NUMBER Z199 RICHARD GREENE) . THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the change and amendment to the zoning ordinance set forth below was duly initiated that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the City Council. The City Council also finds that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following amendment and change be made. SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 19. 06. 010 of the Azusa Municipal Code and the zoning map referred to therein the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the R3c (Multiple Family Residential) zone, to wit: "A portion of Lot 2 and Lot 15, Block 18 Map of Azusa and a portion of the Rancho Azusa finally confirmed to Henry Dalton being a strip of land 5 .0 feet wide adjacent to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad depot grounds lying between Dalton and Soldano Avenues. " SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby find and declare that the change of zone for the property described herein will not have a substantially adverse effect upon the environment and the negative declaration has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 as amended and the State guidelines and is hereby approved and adopted by the City Council. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
